Slumog Millionaire - Character Analysis

Hi everyone! Here is a character analysis of Jamal Malik in my favorite movie (of all time!), "Slumdog Millionaire"! =D

Jamal Malik is not a dreadful prototype. In fact, he is a role model for both children and youth. Even if he is constantly following his heart, do you see that he never acts unwisely. You can quite frankly say that Jamal Malik is being hit by the lucky strike. Although many people join the show for the money, Jamal is participating because he wants to reunite himself with his long lost love. This shows us what kind of person Jamal actually is. He is always truthful to himself, but also to the people that surrounds him. The boy has a willpower that tells him never to give up. And even though Jamal never had a proper education, he is using what life has given him to the full extent. He is the chaiwallah that no one takes notice of, but he is at the same time the bright youngster that has the answer to everything.

I personally think that Jamal Malik is a flat character. The reason for this is because throughout the movie, and his life, is he always the truthful, nice boy that anyone can depend on. The viewer dos not experience the most dramatical changes in his personality, although he grows up in the film.

Until next time, take care ;)

Welcome! =)

Hi!

First I would just like to say: welcome to my lovely blog! I hope sincerely this will turn out to be a sucsess. ;)

Anyway, right now am I quite exhausted from the previous week, mostly because of the holiday. I have to admit; I am a huge fan of the Christmas vacation, but sixteen relatives stuck together in a not-so-big house doesn't always turn out so good. After the big arrival from Sweden on the night before Christmas Eve, my house were basically filled to the brim. Don't get me wrong but I cherish my family very much. It is just that sometimes they could be too overwhelming.

So during the last week of 2009 I spend a lot of time with them. And in addition to this I also had to speak my third language, Swedish, constantly. And FYI I am not that good at it! =P

Well, well, at least school's begun again for everyones relief!

Until next time, take care ;)
